He does a lot of pitch meetings for "good" movies....they all point out absurdities and what not. He's not necessarily shredding it because it was bad. Hence the name, "Screen Rant". It's meant to be humorous, not taken seriously

This is honestly how I experience most movies now a days. It's nice to see billion dollar productions held accountable for plot holes and questionable moral compasses. I love it! I find too often people are tantalized by the "shinny keys" effect. Meaning subconsciously what most people like in movies is the fancy stuff like A-List celebs, million dollar cgi budgets and while you're paying attention to that, play music that will subconsciously persuade you that the moment you just experienced was substantial. Much like reality TV personalities, they look shinny and pretty on the outside but inside is just a superficial mess...

I thought the movie was great, most of the movies Pitch Meeting spoofs I enjoy, but I also have a sense of humor and LOVE watching them toast stuff whether I enjoy the movie or not. It’s all for fun!

She never had the chance to say goodbye to her parents before they died, so this song has a personal/deeper meaning to it. Shania is great at writing songs that can be interpretated in several ways, so everybody can relatie in their own way.
