Great list but I feel Roy Orbison should be on that list. Great tenor voice.

I always thought Bob Seger had a great voice. Definitely one of the greatest song writers to come out of the U.S.

Freddie's voice is amazing. Queen's earlier albums are amazing.

Freddie ❤️ always my #1!!! Also, even though he had only one album (his debut album "Grace") and he was around for a short period of time due to his tragic death, I believe Jeff Buckley was one of the most amazing male singers of all time!!!

Brad Delp from Boston is amazing! Should have been in top 5 to 10. And never forget the swamp sound from John Fogerty from CCR!

I agree that Steve Perry should have been higher on the list. Lou Gramm, Ann Wilson, and Pat Benatar should have been on there too IMO. I think some of the vocalists on that list were better at performing than actual vocal ability.

Freddy Mercury definitely #1. He can sing any genre and sounds even better live. He’s a whole package! ❤️

Freddie is obviously the undisputed #1. The rest of the list has worthy contenders, but I would probably mix up the order a bit. I'd also add a few more people to the list, some (if not all) in higher positions than some of the folks here. Ann Wilson, Chris Cornell, Dio, Ozzy, Pat Benetar, Prince, Roger Daltry, Elton John, and those are just the ones that immediately roll off the top of my head. I'm sure I'd come up with even more if I actually took some time to think about it and scroll through my music collection.

Yes! Freddie will always be number one! Robert Plant is definitely right on Freddie’s heels but I do agree that Steve Perry should be higher. Elvis almost needs his own category, he is the king! Thsnks

Elvis #1, since he IS the King of R&R, and is the only artist is six music hall's of fame... R&R Hall of Fame, Country Music Hall of Fame, Gospel Music Hall of Fame and Rockabilly Hall of Fame. He's also in the Memphis Music Hall of Fame & the Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame. Elvis could sing ANYTHING!
Steve Perry should be #2

My favorite singer is Greg Lake. He had a beautiful sound and amazing power.
It takes a big voice to compete with Keith Emerson's keyboards.
