ATHEIST & Christians ARGUE About Mormon EVIDENCE

Mormons have apologists, holy books, & prophets. Doesn't that mean they have much of what Christianity has going for it when it comes to reasons to believe? No.

🙌✝️❤️ Awesome Job!. Braxton reminded me of an old Jack in the box commercial. Jack stands in front of a burger King, rips of his sleeves and says, "Do something about it" 😂😂😂

When Michael said "I used to invite mormans in my house so I could tell them they were wrong" it clicked for me... He now goes on YouTube to argue with Christians and tell them that they are wrong. He hasn't changed at all.

As a Latter-day Saint, it is true our final appeal is the Holy Spirit, more so than mainstream Christianity relies on the Holy Spirit. That's why we've found the truth. Even early Protestants admitted they knew the truth of the Bible because of its divine power and character, not because of the evidence. Final authoritative divine truth has to come from God Himself, and the Holy Spirit is God. Relying on other evidences doesn't become a problem until you start stacking them against the Holy Spirit, ie. using the non-authoritative Athanasian Creed to reject our Biblical non-Hellenized view of the Godhead without first confirming that the Nicene/ Athanasian Creeds have that same spiritual power confirming them to be as authoritative as the Bible.

Also, Braxton claiming all our evidence has crumbled means he definitely hasn't listened to our apologist rebuttals. They don't just point to the Holy Ghost when pressed for an issue, they have plenty of evidences as well. We don't really get that many answers to our rebuttals BTW. Mainstream Christians just repeat the initial arguments against us a billion times over, Braxton included. I've heard his argument about the Book of Abraham over and over and over and over for years. It doesn't bother me anymore. Not because I'm closing my eyes to evidence, but because I know there are logical answers to it that he won't address. I get that we're a small group of Christians, but Anti-Mormon arguments are still in need of a serious update.

“I know Mormonism is true because I have heartburn.”

Great apologetics Mr. Beverly.

Great job Michael of strawmaning Christianity. It’s almost laughable

@2:57 ⛪ I appreciate the thoughtful discussion here! As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I'd like to add a few thoughts. 😊

📜 Scripture and Personal Revelation: While it's true that we believe in personal revelation, this aligns with biblical teachings. For example, James 1:5-6 encourages us to ask God for wisdom, and John 14:26 speaks of the Holy Ghost guiding us in truth. 📖🙏

@6:45 🔥 "Burning in the Bosom": This concept is actually supported by scripture! In Luke 24:32, the disciples on the road to Emmaus say, "Did not our heart burn within us?" This aligns with the idea that the Holy Spirit can speak to us in a personal way. 🕊❤

@7:54 🏰 Evidence and Faith: While historical and textual evidence is important, Jesus Himself emphasized the need for faith. In John 20:29, He says, "Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." 🕊🌟

@8:44 📚 Additional Scripture: The Book of Mormon is seen not as replacing the Bible, but as another testament of Jesus Christ, complementing and supporting the biblical teachings. In Ezekiel 37:16-17, the prophecy of the stick of Judah and the stick of Joseph can be interpreted as a reference to the Bible and the Book of Mormon coming together. ✨📘📕

Ultimately, we believe God communicates with His children in ways that resonate with them personally, just as He did in biblical times. Let's continue to seek truth with love and respect. ❤🤝

I remember when that WLC clip came out. Mainly because it was an unusual thing for a Christian apologist to say. Personally I disagreed with him at the time and still do. I understand he was talking hypothetically, but if there were no evidence to support Christianity then a feeling is worthless. Lots of people have feelings. I’m not surprised that atheists have picked up on that comment and ran with it.

One follows Jesus, the other follows Joseph.
One isn't laughably false.
Jesus lives! ♥️ and is Yahweh God 🙏🏻 Christ ✝️ and King 👑

I find Michael Beverly to be a laughable bigot.

An atheist apologist is claiming that because mormons have apologists that therefore they are comparable to Christianity? Did he ever read the book of mornon or the JSV and compare the scriptures to what Joseph smith said? It appears not since he decided to use Mormonism as some kind of astranged example of Christian thought.

I don't think this clip proves what you think it does...

Having the Holy Spirit or being convicted by the Holy Spirit or being indwelt by the Holy Spirit is an emotional experience and as such can-not be relied on. Your emotional experience is not reality. Case in point; if a pagan were to have an emotional experience associated with the God Jupiter, would that be proof of anything ?

Christian apologists are so dishonest about the LDS evidence. The Book of Mormon and the angel are much better supported by the historical evidence than the resurrection.

If you want to compare apples to apples, you need to show Mormonism is false using only documents from the church itself.

Chris' affect is so obnoxiously prideful it is difficult to watch for any extended period of time. I wonder why he struggles with this so much?
