John Boyega's Response to Obi Wan Kenobi Show

Here's what John has to say about the Obi-Wan Kenobi show after being asked in an interview.
I hope he is well and I wish the best for his future projects.
I believe Finn was a really under utilized character in the sequel trilogy. Would have loved to have seen him with a better back story, and the expand more on his force abilities.

Its nice that he enjoys the prequels and is able to know facts on them instantly.Other cast members don't even know much of the clone wars or watch the shows like he does.

I honestly feel bad for JB, his character was genuinely headed towards a good direction and excellent character development, but it all got derailed and Finn was reduced to following people around screaming "REYYYY!"

It’s nice that John still likes the prequels and Disney era of SW even though he was screwed over. In my opinion, Obi Wan was good and definitely had parts better/ worse than others.

I love that you brought back the galactic battles track at the end of your videos. I remember when I found your channel, I loved relaxing after an incredibly hard day at work listening to a calm, video about my favorite fictional universe of all time with beautiful music afterwards. However some videos I couldn’t help but laugh like the what if anakin liked sand video, hysterical. You do an amazing job my guy

You're right about the ending, the final ep really stuck the landing. For me it wasn't a perfect show (by far) but neither is Mando. I just find that the high points in the series way way outshine the low parts, for myself at least.

I appreciate you and the intensity and thoughtfulness that you bring to the table. At the same time, it is frustrating to hear how canon reigns over an an enjoyable story. I understand that canon is important, and that there were discontinuities in Kenobi.
