thanksgiving series 🦃🫛🍴 I’m here to show you cooking Thanksgiving dishes can be both easy and allergy friendly. First up is this creamy green bean casserole. Full recipe below:
•pre heat oven to 350
•bring a pot of water to a boil and add in 2lbs of green beans and let boil for 8 min or until your desired tenderness. Strain and rinse with cool water
•chop up one cup of mushrooms, 1/2 white onion & 5 cloves of garlic
•add to a pan over medium heat with some olive oil and let sauté together for about 15min
•then to your pan add salt, pepper & 3 tablespoons of gluten free all purpose flour and mix together well
•add together 1 cup caned coconut milk and one cup of veggie broth
•slowly start mixing in the liquid to your pan string together
•once all liquid is incorporated, keep stirring and let simmer for an additional 3-5 min & then remove from heat
•to a large baking dish add your green beans & gravy and toss together (you can do a taste test and add more salt if needed)
•top with crispy onions and let bake for 15-20 min or until top starts to brown
•now it’s time to serve and enjoy!
