This French's Green Bean Casserole has been a favorite of mine since as long as I can remember, usually a Thanksgiving side my mom would make every Thanksgiving. It's only 4 ingredients and very easy to make. How do you like your Green Bean Casserole?

I always had Green Bean Casseroles growing up and into my years. It's Soo Traditional. You are using exactly the same recipe as we used way back there. I have some fresh green beans, so I am making the same thing, just par-steaming the beans before adding to the soup. I looked you up immediately. Thanks so much.

I have made this recipe since the late 70's. I know it by heart. I have all the ingredients, always on hand each fall. I use my old electric pot for it, which I still have from way back when.

I like to use two 10 oz. steam-in-bag frozen beans. I just cook for longest suggested time so they’re not too firm. They’re a little brighter green and look great in this casserole. I also use more onions than suggested in the recipe. 😁

Note: I got some of the onions from Sam’s Club, and the bag was huge! So I’ve added them to our tater tot casserole filling. Amazing!
