Hey guys, In this video, I share with you my length retention tips that I swear by! I know I should have done this a long time ago, but..better late than never :)

I constantly get asked:
"How can I grow my hair long?"
"What products can I use to grow my hair?"
"How can I grow my hair fast?"
"What can I do to make my hair long?"

Let me just set the record straight...there are NO shortcuts to longer, healthier hair! All of the tips that I mention in this video, I still incorporate into my hair regimen and they WORK for both Natural And product usage is just a portion of the equation when it comes to retaining length!

Achieving longer healthier hair is all about having healthy hair care habits and being consistent with those habits everyday, every week, every month. To retain your hair growth, you have to keep in mind that the longer your hair gets, the older your ends become which means you will need to give more attention and care to your ends! Simple.

Retaining length is a combination of healthy techniques and methods, products that agree with your hair along with consistency!

As always, thanks for watching! Oh, and don't forget to LIKE & SUBSCRIBE :)

xoxo

Oh my goodness talk about nostalgia. I started watching your videos when I was 19, ten years ago. You changed my whole philosophy on hair care back in those days. I went from nape length to bra strap length and then to waist length all because of you.

Black hair is fragile! Nothing is a quick fix not relaxers not naturals. Naturals and relaxed girls have the same routine and that just goes to show that Black women really need to take extra care with their hair.

I'm so glad you remained relaxed and didn't jump on the natural hair bandwagon because many people did. Glad you chose to stick to what YOU like for YOUR hair! I'm currently starting my relaxed hair journey again and honestly wish I stuck to it when I was mid back length and didn't big chop to go natural :(

I'm natural, but your relaxed hair maintenance is on point! It's funny because your regimen shows that whether you're processed or natural, a lot of healthy hair habits are universal. I do many of the same things that you showed in your wash day routine and your approach is so sensible. I also love how you demonstrate braid/twistouts on relaxed hair. Our hair is so versatile when healthy and it saddens me when people think you have to be 100% kinky/coily/curly or 100% bone straight. Great channel and your hair is gorgeous!

Goodness I have been a supporter since 2008...somewhere around there. I went natural because the relaxer was causing scalp issues, but your tips still got me where I am today. You introduced me to JBCO and I have never looked back. Thank you so much for all that you do. You have proved to many that black women can grow their hair. *Many Blessings*

Three years natural and I relaxed two weeks ago. It's falls to about right below my shoulder blades, and is SUPER healthy. I only went natural to let my hair regroup because it was really damaged... mission accomplished. (I have hardcore 100z hair)

Lemme tell you. I missed my straight hair and definitely do not regret perming. This mane is gonna be so healthy, everyone is finna double take. #PermedAndProud

OMG you're an OG. I used to watch your channel back in college when I was relaxed (then went back to natural in 2014) and now I'm back to being Relaxed (June 2019). Subscribed <3

Oh my God.. I remember finding your blog Hairlista way back in 2008 and I followed your tips and was able to see my hair get past my shoulders for the first time in forever. I'm natural now but you inspired me to stop using direct heat on my hair back then. I thank you so much and your hair is GORGEOUS!
