Warnings about casting:
Molten metal and water/moisture can explode when put together. Even if you end up spilling molten metal on damp concrete, that can be enough to cause a steam explosion. It doesn't happen every time, but be EXTREMELY careful when melting metal.

It sounds like what you want is a small, electric, desktop furnace that can melt a couple ounces of copper, bronze, brass, aluminum, zinc, silver, etc. then be poured into some kind of mold. That's pretty reasonable and only a couple hundred bucks. Get gloves, an apron, a facemask, and, if you're melting things with zinc in it, a respirator (or just do it outside).
