In this clip, Dr. Thomas Schwartz examines the different symptom phenotypes of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). The DSM-5-TR recognizes nine diagnostic criteria for BPD, which can be grouped into the following four symptom phenotypes:
- Interpersonal instability,
- Cognitive and/or self-disturbance
- Affective and/or emotional dysregulation
- Behavioral dysregulation

so how do we know they are not sociopaths when they share such similar features. to BPD... so narcisistic and seeming not to care about anothers persons feelings, breaking riles to suit themselves.
