Ten hours after 217 mm of rain

For a change, this short video is the result of the 217 mm of rain that we had in 30 hours, With so many roads closed I couldn't get to the Mersey or Meander Rivers that were in flood, so I filmed a couple of small streams that were running high and fast. It looks like trout fishing will be on hold for quite a few days given that the two main rivers I fish were running well over 3.5 meters. At one stage the Mersey reached a height of 4.06 meters at Kimberley.

You've often talked about how much the 2016 floods devastated fish stocks in some of the northern rivers, Adrian, with some still to recover. How do you think this compares?
