I needed some help with this. I was trying to sew together some circular handles and made a mess of things. Many thanks! Now I feel like I know what to look for and my next tote will come out better.

Oh this is so great! I have the same machine, I got it as an upgrade from my old one, I need to really get to know it and try to feel less intimidated. FYI, Joann's also carries that brand of thread and you can use your coupon. New to your channel, you came up in my feed so glad to have found you!

I’ve been sewing since I was 12. Never. Sewed on paper. Ve loved projects that you’ve sewed on! So I’ll give it a try. I always try something once.

Thank you for sharing these great tips! 💕
I use that same metallic thread and still have issues sometimes. I've tried many different kinds and they all seem to do the same thing. I have the same machine as you (it's my baby I love her!!!😁) So I was wondering, what tension are you set at? And you said you've never had any issues with using that thread? I'm asking bc the thread will sometimes break when I get going really good on a project (I sew paper, fabric, and fabric to paper), which becomes super annoying! Bc I'll have to rethread the machine, clean the race (underneath the top, its the platform that the bobbin sits in) and alla that fun stuff lol; bc when the thread breaks it can wind up in there sometimes as well. And with metallic threads, there's a center thread with the metallic pieces wrapped around it, so when too much pulling causes it to break you also get fraying 😳😑 Ugh it can be a mess girl! I have played around with my tension settings, and now keep it around 4/3.5 bc that seems to work best for the kind of work that I do. Lol sorry for the long comment, but I was just curious since we use the same products! 😍😊

You're sewing on paper, a DIY not really fair if you ask me since no one sews on paper. Trying sewing a circle in stretchy fabric, let's see how you manage that
