I have the Sew Steady brand acrylic extension table for my machine that has this tool built into it. I love it! Be careful not to steer the fabric when it is stitching - just let the feed dogs pull it around. It worked great on my test piece that was 12 inches square. I tried using it on a table runner that I had quilted and my machine had trouble steering it evenly because of the increased weight - so that's a caution. Don't use it on anything large or heavy, but otherwise it works great.

I was about to go to bed and I said to myself, “It’s Tuesday let’s see what Ny has today.” Neat tool but the needle to hold the fabric is so big. Does it leave a noticeable hole? Nice circles though.

Try using a pencil eraser to replace the part that you lost.
