Thank you for this! There is one trouble shooting topic that was not discussed. Let's I want to keep the armature, but the default position (when the armature and the mesh are in edit mode) are not in the correct position, like Y-axis is up, or root bone is far away from the rest of the bones. The pose position, however, is good (maybe not in a t pose or a pose like I want, but at least it is at the world origin with z axis up). How do I get my default position to be in the correct place? Is this better to discuss in discord?

I could not get this to work in Blender 3.0 - Sketchfab did not recognize my login. However, it works fine for me in Blender 3.4.

lm having an issue with 3.4.1 version, it wont let me import a zip file from sketchfab, . It only works from URl or by searching it in the program
