Brush fire breaks out in Page County, Virginia

A massive brush fire is burning in Page County, Virginia. SkyFOX captured the scene just outside of Luray - near Shenandoah National Park.
Early Wednesday, the Page County administrator declared a State of Emergency because of the fire.

In Shenandoah County here. They started control burns on Wednesday.

In Northern New York we have an outdoor burn ban March 15 until may 15 for this very reason...implemented about 5 yrs. ago.. cut down on wildfires by over 90% during that time.

Also a wildfire in Morrisville, Fauquier County along Rt 17 today. Firefighters were there quiet awhile getting it under control. This one was caused by trees hitting power lines. We had really high winds here today.
