Just wanted to point out that i believe, if not mistaken of course, that the shadow from his shoes are supposed to be water reflection, so basically in the "dry" spot there should not be any reflection shadow yes? From the inside of his shoe area, just something i noticed i think was forgotten. But its barely noticeable, but with keen eyes, one see it right away. But yeah, another great tutorial showing off how one use the various elements and other tools in the software in question which helps people follow it easily should they want create a similar scene.

The sky is to dark for shadows and reflections it Needs a light source to create them may I suggest adding a street light also he may be dry but the ground he is standing on would not be.
. but still a good rain effect tutorial.

Awesome "video". I do have a few suggestions from I by learning from other tutorials.
1. All materials or composite should be including free. Not the whole collection but what is needed for tutorials. Can't teach if students don't have materials to learn with.
2. slow down, don't rush thru the tutorial. If "we" sit down to learn we're gonna give it the time it take. And then practice. I don't understand attention spans are shorter now a day but not us. Again we're here to learn.
