It's good manners to apologise of you accidentally bump a stranger in public isn't it? Not just in Japan... 😮

That New Year's Eve sounds like heaven to me. Where I am it's impossible to sleep during that holiday the loud house parties, fireworks, people screaming at eachother coz they're drunk. Worst part us thats all by 10:30pm. The house parties go on till 5AM each street has roughly 6 houses partying from 6pm till 5am

Why would anyone complain about these “changes” in their lifestyle. Maybe I’m just getting old, but I’m beginning to enjoy the quiet and more peaceful times I can have with family. I appreciate when people are polite and apologetic towards others, and recycling is the only way we can be proactive in helping to save our environment. I would love to live in Japan. Move to a smaller prefecture and hop in a train to a bigger city to shop and sight see.

Yah try living in a dirty 3rd word country where even small laws aren't followed and you start to think twice before saying that japan is too strict.
I hate the holidays here because everyone is just soo obnoxious without thinking what their neighbors think. Just because its the holidays doesn't mean you can blast your music infront of someone and say this is ok.
After the celebration is done trash everywhere and no one cleans it and if its dirty blame the government.

Two things Japan cannot afford to give to foreigners ..spacy private places and cheap living conditions... their culture is a bit strange to outsiders but we have to adapt, right ? we live in Japan so we learn to adapt to and hopefully adopt them...
When in Rome, do like the romans do ..😊😊😊

In Canada we apologize for almost walking into you, to ask to pass by, if we do accidentally bump into you. I think Americans are just rude…

A quiet new years? My kind of place. I hate new years in America. I find it a drunken, fake, manufactured holiday.

I love your channel but you look so much like an anime babe I have to say it must be biased in some way although you do seem to do a very good job at explaining life in Japan

We love to apologise in the UK its part of our DNA!😂
One advantage of small apartments, your house is not full of junk! You also dont spend money on nonsense because there is nowhere to put it!
Once you get to certain age in the UK, You dont even bother with house parties, you tend to watch/ listen to big ben and then go straight to bed. It may sound sad, but we just cant be bothered!😂😂

What next Japanese cars having seats that turn into beds? Some of us are like what's bad about this?
