Programming new key fob to 06 Infiniti g35

Am I supposed to be using an aftermarket key for this ? I’m trying to use a oem key that comes with that car, and it’s not working. I’m jamming the key in there over 20 times and still no turn signals. My case broke and just trying to use an aftermarket key fob for it. I have the 06x

Where did you get your key fob? I have an 07 g35 coupe with a different key fob. Also wondering if the newer Nissan key fobs for the g37s would work
