Thank you so very much. I failed like Solomon in hearing the promptings of God. And it’s so painful to let go. But I trust God for the grace of obedience.

yes !!! 😭 this is gold right here. i can definitely relate to the Father using scripture to open our eyes about every day things we are seeking Him about 👀. i had a very similar experience and God can be blunt sometimes 😭😅 but it’s all for His glory and our good😌.

i love that you pointed out that we often don’t ask the most important q’s during the get to know you stage. that’s so true ! it’s like society teaches us to either

A) not to ask anything at all, stay in the dark in order to “respect their privacy” (which hurts us because we end up getting tangled in things later down the line that we should have caught and cut from the beginning).

B) ask ALL the questions concerning things of the world that end up being attractive qualities to us that can ensnare us (their degrees, their job, their hobbies, their personality and ambitions ect...) and if we’re christian all we really end up asking is if they are a “christian” too and what church they go to, maybe after the rose colored glasses are already on 🤦🏽‍♀️

but the things that end up being deal breakers for a true born again Holy Spirit believer (and thus, probably are top priority to consider) are usually

a) their character and how they treat you and others (which is something God Himself has to reveal to you and you may have to observe with some time)

b) their spiritual state and their impact on your spiritual state (which can only be revealed and discerned by the Holy Spirit)

so you’re so right in how we really have this process backwards. God really has to be at the forefront of our dating life in a very spiritually intensive and intentional way, and i praise God for His grace in that you were willing to obey so you could share this amazing testimony and wisdom with us :)

So so good and it’s true, don’t settle ! Ask TOUGH questions - it’s important to remember to not be desperate in these situations. Intentionality must trump that

Amen Sister . Praise be God indeed for The Spirit of discernment and faith that He placed in your heart.You are blessed and thank you for sharing your wonderful story with us.
One needs to know and understand fully what they are getting themselves into before anything else so questions need to be asked .
I got saved when I was in a relationship already and my ex made it clear to me that it wasn’t her path, (I wasn’t disappointed because I kinda expected it and I knew that God is the one that changes our hearts and call us into His kingdom, we are simply a torchlight that points the way to salvation through Our LORD Jesus Christ-gospel)even though she wanted us to carry on dating, it was very difficult and one of the hardest thing I ever did in my life was to walk away after years of dating. I read ‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭6:14-18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the LORD Almighty.”
I knew God was talking to me through this scripture and I remind myself about this scripture time and again so I don’t ever fall into any wicked relationship ever again.

The most important thing in our lives is to save God with all and all that we have, Jesus should come first as we are to Love Him with Our hearts, mind, strength and all that we have.
Marriage is a covenant and symbolizes what Jesus Christ is to the Church, and so no believer should yoke themselves with other gods.

Sis, on the day I broke up with a Christian man, I had a dream of "1 King" but I did not understand why and didn't read the scriptures until now I watched your video, I understood why God gave me this dream. Because that man had a different views with me about God as well. Thanks so much for sharing sister! It confirms to me that my decision to leave him is right

Im literally mind blown. I asked God to show me if my bf was the one for me after so much confusion, and He took me to that exact passage in the Bible about solomn and his wives!! And then you say this 😭 i dont know how to leave! Ive been with him almost 4 years, it's so hard

When I listened to this my heart just ached I recently prayed please show me his heart and mine so I can know if to stay but I slowly lost feelings and suddenly became distant only wanting to be near God and away from him

Please pray for me! I’ve been stressing so. I’ve came into contact with a student that was tested positive for COVID. I life with my mom, sister and nieces and nephews stayed with us for the summer. My fear is it I had it and gave it to my love ones or anybody! I went to get tested but won’t find out my results until August 6. I’ve been crying and stressing so much. Please pray for me and my family. I’m not having any symptoms but I’m stressing so much I’m making myself sick. 😢😢😢😢😢😢
