Thank you so much for answering this question. I was so lost, stuck, I felt like the whole universe was working against me. To the point, I consider that time of my life was like hitting rock bottom. I didn't have anyone around me that I could trust enough for advice, which was all I need back then. I came to Quora, asked with tears, the question sounds like something else, but I was hoping for a better future. And I am glad maybe you have sensed something in the question, you brought me back to life with your answer.

And I was the person who asked that question initially, thank you so much for accepting my request. I am so grateful for your efforts in putting your life experiences to the answer. It was helpful to me.

Thank you again, Boontarika, <3

Your younger ENFP.

The image of buckets getting filled over time really resonates with me. In my 60s now, I make new connections with experiences and things I've learned over a long time. And I know there are many new encounters that will fit perfectly with something I figured out in my 20s. Lately, I've been applying these things to myself and not using all my energy on the needs and demands of others. It's hard to be a collector of information and experiences in the time of Covid19.

Love We have a Natural way of extracting the most important from the repetitious and mundane. Don't let this gift fool you into thinking we are inattentive because you don't have our direct attention. We are always attentive to something. For example PEMDAS for remembering order of operations in algebraic equations... other then the basic understandings of how to do execute each operations. This is truly all an enfp needs out of the 12 years of grades school math. The repetition and fluff is mundane and unnecessary for the majority of realistic applications that arise outside of education. We need to do this because we are vast and can easily identify the need for it in our future endeavors. We also understand that if anything else in the curriculum becomes of more importance. There's countless amounts of resources that we can refer back too if necessary.
Correlation, reading the room and navigating conversations to obtain more substance and a deeper understanding. Are things unique to an enfp that are truly remarkable and only get better over time. 🙏 Thanks for your time and your well spoken understanding!! We almost become a one member jury. We are not the plaintiffs, the defendants, the lawyers or the judges. We are accumalation of perspective and don't execute a decision on the basis of judgement but more so propodurance of evidence. There are perspectives of many within one.

Thanks for sharing these Videos, I love your ensights in ENFP. I am 42, have good understanding of who I am as a mature ENFP but I am still amazed and how much I can relate to you and your thought patterns and feelings. It's just good to see other people like me, thank you for that.

I'm 24 and relate so much to the sensation of the expanding "map" which grows overwhelmingly fast and intensive sometimes, so I need to spend a lot of time processing, making journal to literally not get insane. I ask myself if its really a gift, because...WHAT FOR?? Im still in college, if I wont have in life the time necessary to actually do and dedicate myself to the creative non-commercial things Id like to do, I will just be working full time somewhere to make a living, like everybody, which is okay...but what for this inner rich world then?? I wish and hope I will live a truly fulfilled life but truth is, there is no such neccesity, many things don't depend on us :( Thank you anyway so much for you videos and insights!

Big thanks for making this video😭😭😭! I'm 21 and I've struggled a lot during this last year in uni because i can't keep up with my college friends who are more sensing-thinking type. I've felt inferior this whole time and I even thought that I have cognitive problems because.. you know.. that kind of chaotic mind & ideas with less tangible results. I never thought that my ENFP personality is a very crucial aspect for my self-understanding & I can actually benefit from it. I'm still young and still have time to manage & learn about myself.

I got insights and I've written down the good points in my journal. I watched this video in tears because I felt connected to what you described. All of them are soooo relatable ❤ Thankyou for your big efforts! Big hugs from Indonesia! 🤗

I would say this not being understood issue is the most challenging part for myself as an ENFP. It also relates to being HSP as well. A few of the people that still remain as friends and connections find me "overwhelming".

I was sad recently departing from a friend because there was a brief mention about this. It also has a mild "flag" associated with it and it goes like this. If I am my true self I will be rejected.

I know an ENFJ that has a lot of energy and intensity as well and I told her that the people that get you will not make you inhibit yourself. I feel that people are uncomfortable with us because we might introduce them to rejected parts of themselves so they want to shut us down, aka "normalize" us. This can create relationships that are conditional which isn't helpful at all.

It's ironic that the ENFP that is touted as a generally "happy", "positive" type can also struggle with relationships of all kinds because of being so misunderstood or misperceived. It can lead to profound sadness and grief as it has for myself.

I wish I had some helpful tips for ENFPs. Oh the experience of being sensitive which is rather common for all the NFs doesn't go away with time btw. In fact this may get stronger as time goes by as it seems to have done so for myself.

I think it is possible for us to be understood though it might only be a very few people that will be able to do so. If I do have any advice on this, partial understanding is better than none. So avoid the mistake of wholeness of understanding, aka do not make it a black/white issue. Also we cannot expect people to meet our needs. If you get certain social needs met with some that is okay. This is hard for myself btw, as I look at it now its seems unfair and selfish to make another person give us something they are not able to give. As such to accept and be grateful for what is there rather than be upset about something I feel is absent.

You can get good at almost anything. If it’s a crisis you are going through, hit the books, learn and try things. You will learn faster than anyone. If it’s an interest of yours do the same. You will catapult yourself past everyone you know. This will cause another problem and I strongly encourage you to not make this mistake. Don’t try to fix people with your new knowledge. They will run away. But you don’t take advice do you? Well maybe you will remember reading this (probably not) and not do it twice (doubt it). Just kidding, no I’m not

Thank you for making this video. Just randomly stumbled here.. but yeah it’ll be tough but it will be worth it. Being enfp is more a gift than a curse. It’s a lucky birth for sure! :)
