Aside from hunting bad guys, Kuzan's whole life in the navy was nothing but doing horrible things for horrible people, like the celestial dragons. Even with his motto of lazy justice, Kuzan never had any free will while being a marine admiral. Joining Blackbeard's crew was his chance to finally do what he wanted for a change, instead of sucking up to other people, and their wishes.

I never equated Law and Kid to Luffy so I wouldn’t really fear for him all that much. Law and Kid had to jump Big Mom and they didn’t even actually beat her since even while falling she was fully conscious and was even mocking them for thinking what they did will kill her. They won off a technicality via pushing her off the island. Luffy literally fought Kaido 1v1 with Advanced Armament (Ryou), gained Advanced Conquerors Haki (Hard to tell when its used in the anime but the top of the top tiers use it for overwhelming powerful attacks like Garp), he already had Future Sight, and gained a crazy Awakening.

Luffy was always stronger than them, and they have weaker crew mates so its not surprising that they completely lost when facing off a Yonkou by themselves. They don’t have a Zoro (who also has Advanced Conqueror’s) or Sanji or even a Jinbe in their team let alone ALL three. If Luffy were in their situations, he definitely would have had a different result.

They also got bad matchups too. Kid fought Shanks who is a Haki monster with Advanced Conquerors, Future Sight (that is shown to be better than any we have seen so far), and probably can use Advanced Armament too. Kid had nothing to defend against that since his moves are slow and honestly besides normal CoC, we have never seen Kid use any other type of Haki….ever. We know he has Armament and Observation but he literally never uses it so its safe to assume he isn’t that proficient with them. He’s reliant on his Devil Fruit and we know that against someone with better Haki, Devil Fruits are basically irrelevant.

Then you have Law, decent with Haki but HIGHLY RELIANT on his Devil Fruit vs…..Blackbeard…a guy who can turn off your Devil Fruit and has ANOTHER fruit that is the strongest Paramecia. Another bad matchup. Law definitely fared better than Kid due to Law actually being good at Haki and how overpowered the OP OP fruit is but he was only going to do so well against BB who also has the power to shake the world.

If it wasnt for the news hyping them up so much, Law and Kid never should have gotten the same bounty as Luffy lol. They were in no way on the same tier power wise.

There's been a lot of discussion around the Blackbeard theories, and we know Oda is meticulous about details, like Shanks' scars at the Holyland. In this episode 1115, there's a scene where Blackbeard laughs after defeating law... and I couldn't help but notice something peculiar about his teeth. Initially, he covers his face while laughing, but in the next scene, as he laughs, his teeth seem to shift—specifically, his right front tooth and bottom left tooth. It looks intentional since Oda zooms in on his teeth during this moment.
