TRIP REPORT | To the Canaries in A321Neo! | Madrid to Tenerife | Iberia Express A321 Neo

Iberia Express Trip Report flying from Madrid to Tenerife onboard one of the new Iberia Express Airbus A321Neo on a lovely autumn morning.

A comfortable flight onboard the new Iberia Express Airbus A321Neo from Madrid to Tenerife North airport (as known as Los Rodeos airport). Traveling on a new plane is always very comfortable, that smell of a new plane is something that you can enjoy just a few times in your life, at most. In this case, when we flew in this A321Neo, it was almost brand-new.

Airbus did a great job with the A321Neo, especially with the interiors. Many say that they were clearly inspired by the perfect Boeing Sky Interior, but the truth is that the Airbus new cabin lighting, although is not as good as the Boeing on, it's really nice. What it's perfect on the new Airbus are the new hatchbins. They are huge!

About the flight itself, we departed from runway 36L in Madrid. The views of the mountains to the north of Madrid and the Central System were really nice. But what I really loved in this flight was the unusual approach in Tenerife, flying just next to the Teide volcano. The views were more than amazing!!

Hola Lucas. Me gusta mucho el A321 Neo: el sonido de los motores es suave y bonito. Me gusta. El avión es nuevo prácticamente, tiene un año y pico. Las maniobras de despegue y aterrizaje perfectas. Un vuelo muy bueno si. La pista de aterrizaje es nueva. Espero volar con el A321 pronto. Tenerife es una preciosidad. He aterrizado en los dos aeropuertos: Norte y Sur.

Wonderful video as always.
I do remember that Los Rodeos crash very well as we would fly to Gran Canaria a week later. The KLM aircraft involved was diverted to Tenerife due to a bomb alert at GC airport. The KLM captain was to blame for take off without clearance. The KLM company took a long time acknowledging it. May the pax and crews rest in peace
