EVE Online | Academy - Mining and Resource Acquisition

Показать описание

Many of the raw materials needed to build anything in New Eden can be found inside the asteroid belts and ore sites in almost any system. As you explore the universe you will also come across gas clouds, ice belts, moons, and even the salvage of wrecked ships which can all be harvested for their resources. Over time you will begin to find ways of harvesting and collecting vast amounts of materials to use in a wide variety of industrial processes. Starting out is simple, though, and you can begin to gather New Eden's building blocks from day one. To begin harvesting resources from an asteroid belt, for example, only a Mining Laser and suitable mining ship such as a Venture from the ORE ship tree are required. These raw ores can then be sold on the market or reprocessed in a station to create the minerals used to build ships and modules. Of course, what you do with your stockpiles of resources is up to you.

Aah mining, it's like meditation in EVE, i'm back to mainly mining after years of exploration and i'm having a blast mining, compressing, transporting, selling and trading the raw resources of New Eden. except for that thief who stole my expensive mining drones a few weeks ago, you're on the list bro! :-)

Noble professions without which Eve would not be possible!

Also of note most new player friendly corps are mining focused so mining is the best way of making friends and learning the game!

Come on CCP don't lie to people you don't like mining. All you want to do is burn the industries down. Got to make sure them solo PVP got content and f*** the rest of the game

They forgot to mention that mining is the most boring, mind-numbing and unlukrative thing to do in eve

the massive abuse of multilog and bots did ruin eve in my opinion

edit: saw a guy with over +70 accounts (i stopd counting at one point) but the sad thing is shit like this isnt only happening in eve but in most other mmos too :/

the only 2 mmos i know of where multicheating is still gettin punished seems to be albion online and entropia

Start a character log in everyday to set queue for skills. After 5 years of point accumulation you will be able to compete and can start to pay to play

CCPlease. Allow rorquals in highsec. Just disable the activation of the Industrial core. It doesn’t have to transform, which was its big feature. Let it roam around without the ability to compress, or be able to use its Indy core.
