I don’t know if it’s canon or theory since I don’t really know about 40K but I heard the emperor is kept alive in the state he’s in because the Orks think he’s still alive

Once speed freakz were convinced by a mad dok that if they under go a procedure they’ll go faster than any Ork has ever gone. The orks agreed and had their brains removed and implanted into missiles to give them guidance capabilities. The freakz loved every minute of it up until the sudden stop.

I love that orkz actually don't try to kill people with their guns. But they fell in love with the amount of destruction, the loud noises and the muzzleflash firearms produce. But smashing an enemies face in with a hammer is still the prefered way of an ork.

(Of course GW makes them use their guns so they stand a chance against other factions, but I love that tiny bit of lore, it really credits just how chaotic they are)

I think that's one of the best things about Warhammer is how the Warp works in terms of beliefs becoming real. It adds something that you can really mess around with as fans and players. Also, I can't think of other settings any off the top of my head that has something similar.

I love how some ork engines are just boxes with a few gears and stuff in it. Orks are one of the many reasons 40k is just amazing

I remember in one of the Ciaphas Caine novels, he notes the orc vehicle he and his aide have stolen should not even work. The engine and drive systems did not connect to anything that would actually make the vehicle move.

Orcs simply believe it should work, so it does.
