Demolition crews set off explosives late Sunday to bring down the damaged remaining portion of a collapsed South Florida condo building, a key step to resuming the search for victims as rescuers possibly gain access to new areas of the rubble.

You mean they blew up the other side of the Condo where the other tower was intentionally blown up. That was unnecessary as it wasn’t threatening other building sites in the area. Blowing it up helps cover up the intentional explosion on the first tower. Now, the crime scene is tainted. But, that was the point.
