Life at Duolingo: An Office Tour!

I’m a software engineer for a company with a 43.7x bigger market cap than Duolingo but your offices/office life look so much nicer than mine, tbh I’m sure everyone would way rather work at Duolingo. Unless you miss your streak and the owl comes hunting you

If you want to gamify the experience, make a separate app that is actually a game. Imagine having a open world game where users are individual owls, where you can finish quests and fight other owls. You spend ingots you earned learning your language and finishing challenges in order to buy swords, outfits, buffing your character. Something like a PUBG mobile and WOW combined.

Duolingo into two apps. In one you earn points, buy stuff. And the other app where you play and interact with that character. Or maybe merge it into one app. We now have COD, PUBG, APEX, Pokemon games on mobile. Why would Duolingo be any different?

I love it. I never thought that Duolingo had a physical place. For me, Duolingo was just in my phone and Duo Plushie in my bed.
