brand new printer out the box and i dropped it on the ground, broke one of the hinge that holds up the scanner was able to repair that with welding rods, was getting that scanner error, thought the scanner was jammed was getting ready to take apart decided to come to youtube first, your video was spot on the ribbon came out, thanks bro for taking the time to upload this video

This video was an absolute LIFESAVER!!! I just unboxed my new ET 2720, put fresh sublimation ink in the tank, and then FTFO when I got this scanner error. I just knew something might be wrong with the mainboard or something, and that Epson wasn't going to fix it since I had already put the sub ink (AKA non-epson ink) in. Watched your video---that exact cord was out in mine! THANK YOU!!!

Great job! That fixed it. Thanks so much. I even changed my ink and now it is printing. Now cleaning my heads and nozzle. At first it was not even printing. Both of my cords came out but up and running now. Thanks again.

THANK YOU! that little cable does need to be pushed in, you'll know when it's in. i'm still having another error code but this has solved one issue.

Thanks man. We had to open it up to get some debris out of the back rollers, and when we closed it, it wouldn't print and this error came up. Thanks to your video, we were able to find out what came out.
