I paid almost $1800 for a month and the apartment is so old and neglected. I had all the possible problems: horrible internet, kitchen not working, burn out bulbs, broken pipes and the apartment was just filthy. AIRBNB just doesn't care and the money we pay in fees is only to get the company richer.

We pay so much money for airbnb fees and when we have a problem, airbnb just don't care. Worst customer service I have seen.

Why not to use airbnb: Maybe, after having a horrible experience, airbnb will give you a mediocre compensation that won't compensate the money or the time you lost, or your vacation being ruined. After that, they will act like they gave you alms and you don't have any rights. If you complain too much, they will block you from the platform for "suspicious behaviour". After I sued them, the sent me an email saying the they "blocked the account by mistake". So, you can see how this platform works.

Just came across this. Kind of an unsatisfying waste of a video, because in focusing on the family-roots trip of an Airbnb trends specialist along with her father to a region of England whence their family hails, they just bop around a wee - visit a farm, a cheese shop, and a couple of Airbnb hosts - but it's all very vague; the region is never even specifically mentioned (one of the hosts says the name so quickly and offhand I wasn't able to catch it; I think it's in the north somewhere). You could really have done a lot better with your resources and marketing prowess.
