You’re not an old soul for listening to Ritchie Valens, you just have good taste in music and appreciation for a legend. He’s timeless

I'm a 19 year old girl from Zambia and the fact that I'm sitting in my room listening to his songs is proof that legends never really die. His legacy will live on. When I heard this song for the first time, I Googled him immediately and I was so saddened to see that he died in such a horrific way and at such a young age too! My friends think it's weird I listen to American 50s and 60s music. I love this music so much! Rest in Peace Ritchie Valens

It's been 60 years since we lost Ritchie Valens, The Big Bopper, and Buddy Holly. Wish you 3 were still here.

I watched La Bamba around October of last year, I fell in love with Ritchie and his music, today is his, Buddy Holly, and The Big Bopper’a 65th anniversary since they’ve past. R.I.P to the legends🫶🏼

I'm 18 years old and I'm from Mozambique, my friends think I'm weird because I like classic and old music but I don't know how to explain to them what I feel, I just love it!!!!

He was so special that he died in 1959 at the age of only 17. And his timeless music is still going strong. R.I.P Ritchie. 🙏

He was born 1941 he would have been 83 now but just to have him here and listen to his music and inspire others would have made the world a difference.

He accomplished so much at such a young age of 17 with a very short career. I’m proud he was able to bless us with good unique music. Rest in peace Richard Valenzuela❤🕊️

This is a classic. Love it! My older sister played his record over and over when we were pretty young I, and this brings back so many memories for me at 66 years old. 💕

Ritchie Valens was taken too soon from us. So glad so many people are still listening to his music today. I"m still listening to it.

Ritchie Valens was talent that happens only once in a lifetime. Even though he is still, his music brings him back to us, if only for a moment. This is my favorite song by him.

Ritchie Valens was an awesome singer, it's too bad we lost him too soon. RIP Ritchie Valens.
