This is a project 18 months in the making.

theFINDlab has been processing film for over a decade. We want to give back to the community that has supported us for so many years by providing a new creative space for everyone.

This new creative space will contain a public darkroom, daylight photo studio, art gallery, camera repair, film retail store, and film processing. Everything a photographer could want, analog or digital, all wrapped up nicely at 187 West Center St. in Provo, UT.

FIND stands for “Film is Not Dead;” our ultimate goal is to keep analog photography and all its surrounding processes alive and accessible. This will be a place to work on your art, collaborate, and connect. A place where like minded artists will find community.

We've created pledge options for everyone—locals, the film community at large, and those who care about equality and inclusivity.

Thank you to @candidocollective for their collaboration with us on Studio 400!

This is fantastic! Every community needs a place like this. Analog film is a foundation for magic that everyone should experience.

Nice film and photos. Pretty model. That Candido looks like my kind of film. Good luck on the new venture.

Building community has been lacking in the arts, good job! Anything to help us build community here, also, would be greatly appreciated.

Nice! Haven’t lived in Utah for years but would have loved to have this kind of resource when I was in Provo. Backed, and can’t wait to try that Studio 400
