Polylang Tutorial 2022 FREE -- Create a multilingual / bilingual website in WordPress FREE

Polylang is a free plugin (with a pro option) used by over 700,000 websites. The plugin provides easy switching between various languages for a multilingual website, but falls short on duplication of content and keeping updates synchronized. Good for basic websites, and where mirroring of the original content isn't required.

hello sir, great video. helped me better understand a lot about polylang. the strong point of your video is that you‘ve already alerted the viewers to certain restrictions of polylang that i personally would have never thought of. that said, given all of the restrictions you so rightly pointed out, i would have liked to some info about alternatives. especially ones that „mirror“ the original page. any chance you may have done other video for creating multilingual sites with mirrored pages? rich

I like manual translation since sometimes "current slang" phrases in one language cannot be "updated" with automatic translation. In order to "touch" our visitor, sometimes we need to adjust with "current slang" or "buzz" in one of another language, and polylang plugin (free) give what I need.

Thanks for a great tutorial. This works for me since apart from a few mostly static pages the 2 language versions of our site are largely going to be made up of different content altogether.

Thanks for the informative video to set up Polylang. I do have a problem with language switcher mobile. This will only appear at the bottom of the page. How do I add the language switcher at the top please?

Thank you for explaining everything. Still, I have a question. If we still have to do everything manually, what's the point of using the plugin? Wouldn't it be easier to just recreate the translated pages and call it a day?
