Показать описание
Project update on the BPSK Radio Transceiver we are designing here in the channel.
In this video, we are going to take a look at some bad design decisions and ways to improve it.

This transceiver was design to operate at the 80m band, using a Class E 25W PA.

The frequency planning was not done correctly, and the implications are discussed.

Thank you for posting this video -- I watched the other one with interest, and seeing the conclusion is helpful. I too learn more from failures than from success, and often find myself laboring over a non-working board, hacking it practically to bits until it works right. There is so little RF hobby construction content on YouTube, your channel is a great addition!

This is amazing work!! What a hot enclosure ;)
I learned a lot from this vid, thank you sooo much!!

in ALL mobile data communication systems the uplink and downlink (send/transmit) frequencies are always different and a diplexer is needed for the antenna too. otherwise you can not get rid of the interference. even having a divide by two will not help you much

Very good explanation of the defects of the transceiver, I was thinking In a new block diagram to solve the problem of the signal corruption and I´ve found that adding two more mixers (and its filters) and some freq divider and multyplier attached to the 10 mhz reference it could work also need to change a mixer to subtract and other one to add freq

Why not made in 2m band? about 145 to 145.100 are the frequencies exclusive to radio packet in this band. It would be more easy to use thinking about the antenna size. Learning so much in your channel, great hugs!
