I am getting my life from that bass vocalist. From the vocal bassline to "Well you set my soul on fire" -- all right, Sir! I hear you! You did that!

I knew that the trumpet part of "Crazy in love" is a sample but I just don't know from what song. Finally found this!

"Are You My Woman? (Tell Me So)", a moderate hit at the time of its original single release, has latterly become one of the group's best-known tracks after its horn riff was sampled heavily on Beyoncé Knowles' 2003 global bestseller "Crazy in Love". - Wikipedia

The riff is so awesome that I want it to put it on loop for the whole song... now I understand what Beyoncé was feeling when she sampled it

I remember my father having this 8-track tape back in 68/69 when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade. He loved this tape and also The Detroit Emeralds. I'm thankful that this great music is available on Spotify to listen to, and remember those great childhood memories. RIP Pops 🙏🏽❤️❤️

I´m loving this! Brass section was the only reason why I liked Beyonce´s song. Now I found the right version!
