7:16 Although it doesn't appears in maps, but the Black Sea is actually connected to the Mediterranean Sea by a narrow strait called the Dardanelles. So it is possible for them to swim from the Atlantic into Mediterranean (via Strait of Gibralter) & then into the Black Sea. The same can't be said for the Caspian Sea.

There are no seahorses in the Great Salt Lake or Titicaca, either. They and the Caspian are all "endorheic". Nothing leaves.

However, there are now canals to the outside world. A seahorse or two could slip in that way.
