Many years ago, I visited a small farm to purchase a second hand vehicle. There was a horse behind a fence nearby and I asked the owner if it was safe to go say hello. My toddler son stood beside me at the fence as I admired the size and beauty of this horse. Without warning, the horse swooped down and tried to bite my son. His muzzle and snapping teeth grazed my son's head. The only thing that saved us from tragedy was that the horses neck hit the fence, which prevented an awful bite.

Animals are unpredictable. Keep your children safe. 💜
