NO ONE came to our house to Trick-Or-Treat

There was a new family like this in my neighborhood last year. I was the only one who came and uh yeah they where very happy to see me and I got a lot of candy. Very nice ppl

Same thing happened to me- well, sorta
I was out with my friends for Halloween and my mom told me that my Step-Dad was waiting at the door with a bunch of candy waiting for kids. No one came and he started to cry
I felt really bad so once I found out- I grabbed my bucket went up to the door of my house and said “Trick Or Treat!” He was so happy ❤️
I’m glad I did that
I will never forget the happiness that filled his sad eyes that night

At this point, neighborhoods don't do it, but there's almost ALWAYS some kind of community trick or treat event going on! A quick few searches and you might see a trunk-or-treat location to check out, where it's parking lots with vehicle trunks decorated for Halloween and kids walk around to admire and get candy and all that, some have face paint, activities, and actual food stalls. Be safe!

Live in a apartment complex, full of kids, even neighbors had at least 4 . Not one kid came, it
is utterly disappointing that the holiday has died out.

That’s so sad. This past Halloween I got to celebrate with my nieces who lives on base at Ft.Campbell and they had a massive turnout in there neighborhood. So many people decorated there yards and some even set up haunted houses in there garage. The MP’s had to come and navigate traffic bc it was so crowded. ❤

I know that when you very recently move into a house you will rarely get any trick or treaters. I just moved into a brand new neighborhood where everything is new and freshly built. Nobody came to any of the house in our street except one person who came to our house. It’s always really sad because nobody even checks but again. There is always next year!!

If I wasnt too old to really be trick or treating anymore I would have been ecstatic to have gone to yalls house! The healthy option especially really made me happy because some kids do actually like them!
