Hope this game bangs, looks good so far, but it has to be truly exceptional with Ghost of Yotei likely like 4 months after this.

Seems a lot is riding on this, hope it pans out.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows gets a new extended look on Parkour🚀

Assassin’s Creed Shadows now releases March 20, 2025. Ubisoft has delayed Assassin's Creed Shadows yet again, this time by another month.

Assassin's Creed Shadows was due out February 14, 2025, but will now launch on March 20 instead. This is the game's second delay, after an initial release date of November 12, 2024 was pushed back to this year.

"As part of the renewed focus on gameplay quality and engaging Day-1 experiences, it has been decided to provide an additional month of development to Assassin’s Creed Shadows," Ubisoft said.

"This additional time will allow the team to better incorporate the player feedback gathered over the past three months and help create the best conditions for launch by continuing to engage closely with the increasingly positive Assassin’s Creed community. The game is now scheduled for March 20."

Ubisoft is scared. They need this game to be a huge success more than anything and they're afraid of any competition that can potentially be in the way of that. I have a feeling that no matter what they do though, I don't think it's going to be enough to save them. Ubisoft have dug their own graves after years of mismanagement and not caring about their consumers.

ACS is terrible even without Yasuke
- The cylindrical pile of objects in the video are rice in straw bags, which was tax at the time. Rice should be brought straight to a dry storehouse, not left outside like that, because it would go moldy quickly. UBI doesn't understand the humidity in Japan. It seems like they're wasting tax coins by deliberately letting them rust.
- Rice is the most sacred thing to Japanese people, so it hurts to see rice in straw bags being hit by rain like in the PV. Straw bags don't repel water.
- Japanese houses are made of wood, so you don't light candles in empty hallways. It will cause a fire. Someone needs to keep an eye on the fire. Even in the West, they wouldn't light so many candles in the hallways to save fuel.
- Japan has paper walls, so candles in the hallways cast the assassin's shadow into the room.
- Japanese castles do not have skylights for assassins to invade. In the first place, the Japanese did not know the concept of skylights. The Japanese did not even know about chimneys. Because they lived in wooden houses with many gaps.
- Roof tiles make noises when stepped on.
- The ground in the castle square is filled with ball-stones, which also make noises when stepped on. Why would they ignore historical stealth measures in a stealth game?
- There is no castle built suddenly in the middle of a village.
- I understand that they cannot cut eagle dives, but if they piled straw like that in the Japanese climate, it would not be that dry.
- The Japanese collected fodder to avoid rain under the roof. The Japanese ate very little meat for religious reasons, so they did not need a large amount of straw for livestock, and all the fodder for their war horses could be stored under the roof.
- In the first place, straw that was not in a container would not absorb the impact during an eagle dive and would scatter.

Ghost of Yotei has a huge DEI red flag attached to it I'm very cautious about it. I'll be playing Atelier Yumia instead which releases around the same time as the new Shadows release date.

It's unsettling that Ubisoft chose to release their game on the 30th "anniversary" of the Tokyo subway sarin attack, a horrific event in Japan's history that occurred on March 20, 1995. The timing feels incredibly insensitive given the tragic impact it had on countless lives
