Former independent counsel Ken Starr is speaking out in detail for the first time about his investigations and the impeachment of President Bill Clinton. In his new book, "Contempt: A Memoir of the Clinton Investigation," Starr writes: "I deeply regret that I took on the Lewinsky phase of the investigation. But at the same time, as I still see it twenty years later, there was no practical alternative to my doing so." Starr joins "CBS This Morning" to discuss "eerie similarities" between his investigation and the current Russia probe.

Is this is the same Ken Starr who got canned as president of Baylor University for
both covering up sexual assaults on campus and for trying to put the blame for
these assaults on black students? Is that him? Holier than thou Ken Starr who
was compelled to throw stones at others despite breaking all the windows in his
own glass house. A good christian. An outstanding republican. And an unbiased
arbiter of truth!

this is the same guy that was asked to leave his position at Baylor for looking the other way on campus sexual assaults. Hypocrisy much?

He didn't mind it when he was being paid for it. Or when he was mugging for reporters everyday for months.

“Prom night” was a sting. Lewinsky wasn’t invited (she had no attorney present) to a meeting; she was tricked by Linda Tripp & Starr’s team.

Not only did he not regret the whole thing, but he also enjoyed it and used it to advance his career.

His crocodile tears don't impress me. He should apologize to Clinton.

He allowed his political affiliation to cloud his judgement. He vullied a vulnurable woman and denied her right to counsel, utterly reprehensible waste of humanity

He seemed to want to release all the sordid details. What kind of honorable man does that? Hot mess!!!

Lol so he prosecutes Bill Clinton, yet joins Trump's defense team. Yeah Ken Starr, you lost all credibility and made yourself look like a political hack. (NOT an "independent" counsel)

The argument is: is Democracy A FRAUD; The answer to that is a BIG PLUMP YES.

Democracy is the world best and biggest scam concocted by English King Henry the VIII [8] in the early 1500 the fend off the proletarian class from starting a revolution. Similar to the French revolution in France in which the French Aristocracy including Queen Marie Antoinette was decapitated or better yet guillotined to preserve the privileges of the aristocracy, appease the masses and keep the revolution fever across the England channel at bay.

King Henry the VIII with help of his peons and minions whom later formed the Chatam House drafted an articles which later became the constitution for to sole purpose of appeasing an angry and often time volatile masses. These peons under the direction of the King offer frivolous schemes akin to freedom, rights, opportunity, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, with that they were able to tame a generally naïve, uneducated and eager class of obtuse peasants. … In actual facts it was all a scam, a fraud to ensure the aristocrats reminds in Power, wile continuing to suppress, abuse and run unopposed the vast herd of proletarian hoodwinks … in some instance these very same peasant were able to served in the house of lords and various other monarchy appointment, the same scheme still goes on globally in some forms or others under the pretext of Democracy Freedom and opportunity for all. Notice nothing gets done in an Democracy, just an elaborate theatre.
