In this video, I give some advice to new engineering grads on landing that job out of school that they are looking for. This is my opinion, not set advice for all employers.

This was so helpful, especially specific do’s and dont’s in an interview along with the interviewers perspective of different types of responses. You should do a video of that alone!

These are great tips for new grads...this is exactly what I share with current undergrads. Some think they'll be able to go straight into project management, but it's important to think about the career one step at a time. Looking forward to seeing other videos from a fellow civil engineer!

I’m in engineering school currently at roughly around 25/120 credits. I’m trying so hard to find a drafting job to get some experience. I’m working in facilities maintenance so I guess I have the necessary hands on experience already. My question is, should I just stick with where I am now, get the degree, and then apply for engineer in training positions?

Hey Karim, have you any suggestions for a bridge engineer who wants to transition over to buildings? I have been a bridge engineer for a large firm for the past 4 years and I want to transition to buildings working in a smaller firm but haven't had much luck. I took this into my own hands and started my own company in order to get the work but I'm limited by my knowledge/experience.
Just wondering how you might tackle this issue.
Thanks!

what would be a good salary expectation for new grad in Ontario? What would be considered as low and high?
