Finding a job is like trying to sell your mixtape. But by far the best way to get a job or an internship…especially for an engineering role is to reach out to recruiters, engineers, or hiring managers on LinkedIn. However, the process of reaching out to recruiters is a little different than reaching out to engineers, so I’ll share a step-by-step breakdown of how to contact each.

Tamer, you have no idea how much influence you have in here. I watched your video last night, texted a hiring manager this morning, and scheduled a 0.5 hr video call for next week!! I'd never done it before. I was always anxious to text people on LinkedIn, thinking who would take the time to talk with a stranger, blah blah but it worked. Now I am not thinking they are gonna offer me a job next week but who knows what's gonna happen?! Thank you and we appreciate your work and effort.

I have not finished the video at the moment that I am commenting but this video is definitely giving me a lot to think about as a first-year Mec Eng Student at PSU. I am looking for a summer '23 internship which is proving to be very difficult with no industry experience, thanks for the outreach tips!!!

Hey bro! Your videos are amazing! I have a suggestion: could you please do a Labtop Guide for engineering students? I know you briefly mentioned a laptop buying guide in a back to school video, but I think an updated and longer version would be helpful! Does anyone else agree?

Education system is suck when students forces to study a lot but can’t find a job after graduation. It took about 2 years for my brother to find a job .

damn. just started doing this with hopes that this might help, but linkedin has a monthly limit of like 5 personalized connection notes. idk if there's any way to bypass or if this method is just impossible without paying for premium :(
