Arctic Tundra Biome - The search for permafrost

We recently joined a research team up to the Arctic Tundra of northern Sweden on a search for permafrost. This biome is like an Arctic version of the Wild West, and the weather can change quickly. It's also a biome undergoing big changes as a result of increasing global temperatures. The race is now on to figure out how the changes are affecting everything that lives here.
This video was produced together with researchers at University of Gothenburg, Sweden.
