Sunrun Provides Affordable Housing Community with Clean Energy Savings and Price Stability.

Sunrun was proud to cut the ribbon with our BLDG Partners, Foundation for Affordable Housing, Southern California Edison (SCE), SOMAH and Mayor Dan Slater on the new rooftop solar installation at The Knolls apartment complex in the City of Orange, California.

At 646 kilowatts, The Knolls is the largest SOMAH-funded affordable housing installation in Edison territory to date. It's estimated to cut residents' collective bills by over $6 million in the next 20 years. Locking in self-generated #solarpower also provides a great hedge against skyrocketing #utility price #inflation, allowing the property owners to focus resources on the #affordablehousing mission.
