Fast X - Movie Review | Fast and Furious 10

Fast X is in theaters and today I tell you my thoughts. This is my Spoiler Free Fast X (2023) Movie Review and Reaction. Did you enjoy Fast and Furious 10? Are you a fan of Vin Diesel or Jason Momoa? Were you as shocked by this movie or ending as I was, and I need your explained thoughts on that wild ending below.
The end of the road begins. Fast X, the tenth film in the Fast and Furious Saga, launches the final chapters of one of cinema's most storied and popular global franchises, now in its third decade and still going strong with the same core cast and characters as when it began. Over many missions and against impossible odds, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his family have outsmarted, out-nerved and outdriven every foe in their path. Now, they confront the most lethal opponent they've ever faced: A terrifying threat emerging from the shadows of the past who's fueled by blood revenge, and who is determined to shatter this family and destroy everything-and everyone-that Dom loves, forever. In 2011's Fast Five, Dom and his crew took out nefarious Brazilian drug kingpin Hernan Reyes and decapitated his empire on a bridge in Rio De Janeiro. What they didn't know was that Reyes' son, Dante (Aquaman's Jason Momoa), witnessed it all and has spent the last 12 years masterminding a plan to make Dom pay the ultimate price. Dante's plot will scatter Dom's family from Los Angeles to the catacombs of Rome, from Brazil to London and from Portugal to Antarctica. New allies will be forged and old enemies will resurface. But everything changes when Dom discovers that his own 8-year-old son (Leo Abelo Perry, Black-ish) is the ultimate target of Dante's vengeance. Fast X stars returning cast members Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Jason Statham, John Cena and Scott Eastwood, with Oscar® winner Helen Mirren and Oscar® winner Charlize Theron. The film also features an extraordinary new cast including Oscar® winner Brie Larson as Tess, a rogue representative from the Agency; Alan Richtson (Reacher) as Aimes, the new head of the Agency who doesn't hold the same fondness for Dom's crew as his predecessor, Mr. Nobody; Daniela Melchior (The Suicide Squad) as a Brazilian street racer with a powerful tie to Dom's past; and legendary Oscar® winner Rita Moreno as Dom and Mia's Abuelita Toretto.

I gave it a 20%. 18% for Momoa's performance. 2% for patting myself on the back for being able to sit through the entire movie.

Scott Eastwood plays Little Nobody from the Agency. He's there during the first act with the bombastic rolling bomb 😂

The writers made the "Roman" character so dumb in the latest flick. My 17 year old son noticed it, and asked what was the agenda behind making his character so immature, boyish and stupid?

I have a soft spot for this series, mostly due to my brother who watched the first movie back in 2001 when he was around 1. I liked every movie, especially 5, 6, and 7 which are actual good movies. I thought The Fate of the Furious was fine, and I didn’t really like F9. I was mixed walking out of the theater of Fast X, but after thinking, I realized it’s not a great movie, but honestly it isn’t really a bad one either, I enjoyed it, and I absolutely loved Jason Momoa, he made me laugh so hard, and he made the movie much more enjoyable, I could be biased, but I think it’s a step in the right direction. Fast X is definitely better than The Fate of the Furious, and F9, I would hope that the last two movies could be better, but considering the way the movies have been lately, it probably won’t happen, there is a possibility, but I’m not so sure.

Jason was exceptional but for me it just seemd like endless action scenes with little in between compared to the older ones . Almost like token scenes to get to the next action sequence

I'm still convinced they'll have a tag at the end of the credits in one of the next 56 sequels that says “The Family will return in Avengers: Secret Wars”
