Or you can simply log into the mobile app once and it's always one click to purchase. Like how she is so focused on e-commerce and the benefits deep-links bring to such companies. But trend has started to reverse. Lot of big companies like Spotify, Netflix, Amazon(Kindle), game companies etc want to do payments through web. Reason?

Hegemony of app stores. The commission they take on 'every purchase made from the app'. Why would any company want to throw away 30% of their sales?
