Hey your doing Great work here, learning from a 20yo about financials is an eye opener for a 40yo, that starting young is the way to go, Hope to have my 20yo daughter have the same mindset. Kudos!

Thank you for this tutorial. I spent the whole afternoon working on my own financial portfolio on google sheets. I tried listing down all my expenses and savings before, but I stopped because I don't want to be OC on my financial matters. I wanted to spend, save, and enjoy my money. Seize the day, right! But then, when I watched your videos, I realized that we really have to make our tracking of our finances easily so we won't be surprised of our expenses. (because I admit I also buy unnecessary things on impulse.) Yes, I have to spreadsheet everything because I don't want to be surprised anymore every time I received my earnings from my investments and savings. I am not good in numbers and accounting concepts, but with your step by step instruction for the automated finance system, I diligently followed your instructions and I appreciated how my finances are easily documented and monitored through this spreadsheet. Keep it up!

I've been doing a spreadsheet of my finances since I started working at the age of 20, but the main problem was that I'm having a hard time tracking my expenses. Thank God! Finally found stuff like this, and I'm currently using this concept of yours to track my everyday expenses and income. Such a great video! More content like this! Kudos to you!

You should make this Excel thing a series like for this week, you talked about spreadsheet for cashflow, next week will be for other things. I know there's more to this than what was shown on the video. Thanks!

I just landed on my first job and even if I haven't received my first salary yet, I'm already planning on how I would budget it. This spreadsheet idea really helped a lot since I was using Notepad for my initial plans which is not really organized haha. Btw, I watched your other videos and I'm really interested with the Playeveryday card. Hope you'll make a separate video focusing on what are the ways to earn more points and the perks of redeeming it. Thanks a lot <3

Spreadsheets feel like cuddling up on the couch with a pillow and blanket...but with numbers.

This was a game-changer. I've been using spreadsheets but I've never organized it the way you did. Yours was much more organized and efficient. Thank you and keep creating!

I was finally able to find this video again. I saw it in 2021, still a 2nd year student. It helped me have a temporary savings, but I didn't use those money. And now, 2024, I am about to graduate from college. It helped me on my way to finding the answer to the question I always thought: what will I use that savings for. Manage finances well to find ways to escape the cycle of working and living day to day. Thank you very much.
*I use Google translate. Sorry if the grammar is wrong.

I would actually suggest to group your daily or monthly expenses into: 1. Fixed (usually for scheduled monthly payment if you have) 2. Variable/Adhoc expenses. Here you can easily see and hopefully control how much you are spending on unplanned or adhoc items. Also add Credit Card expenses or charges so you can also track if you are swiping your credit card too much already that you won't be able to fully pay your total amount due to avoid Finance charge.

I just finished making my own spreadsheet using MS Excel 2016. Thank you so much for this, Nichole Alba. This will be my new year's resolution. I will do my best to be consistent and manage my finances. Thank you for the inspiration!

I had to slow down the speed to fully understand the instructions LMAO. It's been so fun to hear you talk about different life aspects so far! Searched in YT how to invest (right after being guilty of too much impulse buying yesterday) and now I just finished my first spreadsheet! Thank you for this! Planning to invest my scholarship savings ;) I'm looking forward to more of your content and improvements!

I have downloaded a million of budgeting/cashflow tracking sheets. I then bump into this video today and tried to search for any ready-made file at your social platforms because I was a bit lazy to start it. I couldn't find one, so I continued with your video and along the way, I got interested to do as you instruct. This, by far, is the best tutorial I have ever encountered. Learning to organize my finances the easy way, direct to the point, and at the same time, learning few more spreadsheet basics. Amazing! Thank you!
