The real suffering of Jim Caviezel | The Passion of the Christ #shorts #movie

During the filming of The Passion of the Christ, lead actor Jim Caviezel suffered a lot of injuries: because of the multi-layered make-up, his body was covered with blisters that prevented him from falling asleep; he was hit twice with a whip, he dislocated his shoulder, received bruises under his eyes, and was even struck by lightning.

Caviezel did not have to figure out how to portray physical torment - he really experienced it. The cross that the actor carried to Calvary was not fake - it weighed about 70 kilograms. After filming and completing the film, he was hospitalized.

God Bless you, Jim for making this film. I balled my eyes out watch the film. I bought the DVD and have tried watching it a couple of times, but couldn't as it tore me up.

He did go through a lot while filming this movie, but he also asked God to let him know some of the pain that He felt when He was on the cross. At least that’s what I saw in an interview he had.
