Mike Graham's demeanour belies the simple fact he was not prepared to conduct an interview at all & was only there to disparage. In his haste to belittle he tripped over the very minefield he had sown himself, the arrogance of which is quite astonishing, really embarrassing to watch on multiple levels.

Imagine dedicating your life to broadcasting and all you’re remembered for is being the man who thinks you can grow concrete.

“That was Cameron. He grows trees, cuts them down and makes things from them.”

Was that supposed to make him sound stupid? Because, yeah, that’s kind of how it always worked.

I love how Cameron didn't even argue back, he just let him sit with that.

like a comically fast samurai after a move, standing there, only for the opponent to suddenly fall into sliced pieces.

This man has an incredible sense of where and how to just end a conversation.

I love that little moment he realises he just said something stupid on air

His legacy was cemented in this one moment

My concrete garden is coming along nicely, I'd say next year it'll be ready for harvest and I'll chop it up into lovely blocks ready for

When he says "he doesn't want to ever talk to those people", he means he doesn't want to talk to people who are clearly more intelligent than he is, which is... quite a lot of people.

At 0:39 most people would've responded by stating the obvious. But instead, Cameron kept silent, thus letting the stupidity of the comment sink in and develop into an awkward silence which only magnified the comment.

It was a true stroke of genius that played perfectly into the tree-hugging carpenters splintered hands.

Cameron's very subtle grins, desperately trying to hold back a laugh, absolutely give me life. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

You can see that brief moment in his eyes when he’s trying to come up with the best comeback to totally slam dunk on this moron, and then that twitch of a grin and a head shake when he realizes that the best response is actually silence and a straight face

I'd seen the end clipped before, but I never realised that the whole 'interview', start to finish, is forty-six seconds long. Truly incredible.

concrete growing aside, he sarcastically remarks that cutting down timber to make things as if humans have never done that for thousands of years

0:40 the amount of restrain it must have taken to not burst out laughing

The famous hanging tarmac gardens of babylon, the great concrete fields of the countryside, the illegal brick farms grown in secret, I want to live in this mans head of farmable building materials.

There's good reason to use more timber, not less. As long as we're not burning it, sustainable forestry is an amazing way to sequester carbon from the atmosphere.

That fact he says ‘yeah you can’ with such confidence.
