Fashion one of those mini wire mesh strainers from Dollar tree as a spark arrester, to fit on the top of the pipe.
Might need to enlarge some of the holes a little if the mesh is too tight to let the smoke escape, instead of it backing up into the stove.

I loved making coffee on mine that I did a review on. Mine come from a company called DeerFamy and mine is stove black. I just wish mine came with the chimney dampener. I will either modify mine or buy one off of Amazon. I need to get a French press bot. I had to leave the cover over my hole, but of course, I was using an old 2 cup aluminum percolator to make my coffee. Really enjoyed your review of the TEMU Tent Stove. Thanks for sharing.
