Euronews reflects on Giorgia Meloni's first year in office

When Meloni took office one year ago, many in Europe worried about the prospect of Italy's democracy backsliding. Euronews correspondent Giorgia Orlandi spoke with one analyst who said Meloni ''has adopted a new way of governing the country that is yet to be analysed''.

Italy is doing way better with her in charge, but unfortunately she's not doing enough on migration. I'd still pick her over anyone else, but she must do more to solve the problem and send some of "them" back!

The instability of the previous governments can’t be fixed in just one year, she needs more time. I hope meloni its gonna manage to fix our country a little in the next few years. For now I’ll keep supporting her government with my vote
