I just built an $800 pc and i went with the 1tb over the half tb since it was only 19 dollars more...
I also used a 6650xt for $249
I bought an evga 80 plus white for 52 dollars.
Also bought a lian li case on sale for 63 bucks and a vertical gpu mount.

Nice gesture Greg! This is basically my current PC that I built last october, only a bit higher price ($900) due to more storage and a tiny flair of RGB plus tempered glass. I can vouch for it, it's a great "1080p High" gaming machine.

side note..when extracting static laden pc cases from their packaging..first touch a door knob or something to ground...trust me, it helps.

This man is truly a legend in the master race. I think you did quite well. A used 3060 12gb and maybe 32gb of ram for poorly optimized games might be a solid option for a diy builder with that option. (evga b stock for example) But I think this will crush most games and I'd be so grateful for it.
