For me Bang & Olufsen it's definitely the king in lifestyle home audio speakers, but there are pretty expensive. You get amazing sound quality and great features but still no a brand that all people know about it even when they pioneer the multiroom experience.

I have recently stereo paired two echo dot 3rd gen and the sound quality is good
However it seems that I can only get the second dot to kick in if I play amazon product ?

If it is sound quality you want I recommend Bluesound. They don't have the 'smart' functionality yet but I have heard that they are working on it. I don't consider Sonos high quality sound, I would say lower mid range at best. But if your primary source is compressed streaming and not lossless then I can see your point. Good job, I do believe it was an honest and unbiased opinion and reviewing subjective things like audio is difficult.

Soo over thanksgiving was at my uncles and he had the old gen big speaker. The use of saying hey Alexa to ask stuff was nice. But like a lot of audiophiles I have my own audio setup already everywhere I go. Ended up ordering the dots 3. Got two for the price of one with Black Friday sale. They sound night and day better in stereo but that’s not why I bought two. One for the house and one for the work shop. My only down side with them is there Bluetooth functions. In the living room/ kitchen environment it’s not able to connect to the tv surround sound all the time with the tv on. I have to go into the Alexa app and say forget Bluetooth every time to shut it off and use it normally

Oh fuck, Kirby cussed like a crazy asshole in this video. As far as Amazon's Echo goes, I prefer separating it from the system and being a source. Buy the cheapest one and splurge on the audio. People are still gonna complain about streaming quality and blah blah blah but whatever.
